ANZAC Day

ANZAC Day, observed on April 25th, is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand. It honors the men and women who served and sacrificed their lives in military service, particularly those who fought in the Gallipoli campaign during World War I. The day begins with dawn services, followed by marches and ceremonies in towns and cities across both countries. ANZAC Day is a time for reflection, respect, and gratitude for the courage and sacrifice of service members, and it plays an important role in fostering national pride and remembrance of the impacts of war.
