USI - Unique Student Identifier
A USI is a number that all Australians have to produce in order to enrol in a course, whether that course be a White Card, First Aid or TAFE course.
Much like a Tax File Number, a USI number will stay with you for life.
To obtain a USI you simply need to log onto the USI website and follow the prompts.
You will need to provide information from either your Medicare card, birth certificate or passport.
Once you have been given a USI number, keep the details somewhere safe so you can use them in the future.
Students are welcome to visit the Careers Advisor, Ms Beemster if they have trouble navigating the USI website.
Have you lost your USI number?
Use this site to reclaim it. You can also call 1300 857 536 (the student has to call this number and speak, a parent can't do it on behalf of their child)
