Remberance Day

Remembrance Day, observed on November 11th, honors and remembers the soldiers who lost their lives in World War I and all subsequent wars.

It is a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by military personnel in service to their country. In many countries, including Australia, Canada and the UK, people observe a moment of silence at 11:00 AM to mark the armistice signed in 1918, which ended World War I. The day also includes ceremonies, wearing poppies, and paying tribute to veterans.
