The staff and students of Brisbane Water Secondary College acknowledge the Darkinjung people, the Traditional Owners, of the the land on which we proudly stand today.

Welcome to our school

Brisbane Water Secondary College Umina Campus is a dynamic comprehensive, coeducational, 7-9 high school.

The college was established in 2002 across two campuses to provide age appropriate teaching and learning environments for all students.

 

 

Do you need to meet with the Principal or Deputy Principal?

BWSC Umina Campus Principal Kerrie Thomas and Deputy Principals, Susannah Murray (Yr7), Jessie Heighington (Yr8), Simon Warren (Yr9) and Kathleen Short (Inclusion and Support), welcome the opportunity to meet with parents if and when required. 

As you can appreciate our Senior Executive Staff are extremely busy on a day to day basis and this means that it is often not possible for unscheduled meetings to be held. 

To ensure the person you wish to meet with is available, at the time that you would like to meet with them and to minimise inconvenience, we recommended that appointments are made in advance, by phoning the school office.

Under 13 rugby league students will be participating in a full contact game of rugby league here at BWSC. Students are to wear normal uniform to school and will be directed to get changed at an appropriate time on the day. Students are required to bring football boots, mouth guards (compulsory), any other personal protective equipment.
