Attention Year 7 2016 parents:
The first day of the school year is fast approaching for our new year 7 students and we can't wait to get started!
Students are to arrive at school on Thursday the 28th January between 8am and 8:25am. You're more than welcome to bring them into the playground and hang around with them until the bell goes. Once the bell rings they will be in our safe hands and we will start the day.
Please do not worry too much about work books and specific equipment on days 1 and 2 as students will be involved in a range of orientation activities. We suggest they bring along their pencil case and one work book to take some notes or write down any important things they might need to remember.
Please ensure your child is in full school uniform on day 1. If you have not already arranged this, they can be purchased from "We're Sportswear" at 13-15 Mutu St Woy Woy. Uniforms can be purchased from their shopfront during the business hours - Mon-Fri 8:00 – 5:00pm and Sat 9:00 – 11:00am. Alternatively a representative from We're Sportswear will be available at the Umina Campus in the first few days of school. Don't forget students are to wear enclosed black leather shoes as a part of their uniform.
The school day finishes at 2:40pm and we welcome you to meet your child at the front of the school. Please be aware however, that there will be buses arriving to collect students so please ensure you are parked outside of the bus zone. All of the executive staff will be on bus duty during the first days of school to ensure that all of the students are on the correct bus and feel supported in this process.
