All year 9 students will be taking part in Mock Interviews which will be held in week 7 of last term.
You will be spending a lot of term during your Careers lessons preparing your cover letter and resumes .
Local business people and other community representatives will form panels of two or three to interview our students for mock positions. They will then provide constructive advice on where the student did well and where they can improve.
Mock interviews are designed to be a positive, confidence building experience for our students.
Students are also required to bring their last school report and a sample of work with them.
Any sporting and academic awards should be brought along as supporting material. A particularly good piece of art or woodwork would also be appropriate.
Interview techniques and question rehearsal will also be done during Career lessons.
