Middle school students are generally undecided about their future career.
In-fact many students don't make up their minds about their immediate future until they are at the Senior Campus and sometimes after they leave. This is all quite normal.
As long as you are thinking about and investigating your future possibilities you are on the right track.
It is important to note that people can have many career changes in their lives. So, what you decide now will not necessarily be what you are doing in ten years time. Nothing locks you in for life!
Students will learn a variety of things in Career classes which will help them explore careers, their own personal skills and qualities, their strengths and what type of learner's they are. They will find out about their personality and which work style will suit their personality type.
Students in Yr9 spend the year working on developing a resume and cover letter. They then carry our their Mock Interview as part of the Careers course at BWSC Umina.
